The Easy Subscribe – WooCommerce Add-On helps you grow your email list by capturing subscribers directly from WooCommerce product pages. By allowing customers to subscribe at the moment of interest, you can build highly targeted lists based on their preferences.

Additionally, the add-on supports auto-subscription, meaning customers are automatically added to a subscription list when they place an order—ensuring every purchase helps expand your audience effortlessly.

Product Form

Turn Product Pages into Lead Magnets

The subscription form on product pages can be set up just like any other form in Easy Subscribe. Follow the standard form setup guide here: Form Setup Guide.

However, the product form includes a few additional options specific to WooCommerce, allowing for more flexibility in how subscriptions are handled.

Form Position

You can choose where the subscription form appears on the product page:

  • Before product meta – The form will be placed just before the product’s meta information (SKU, categories, tags).
  • After product summary – The form will appear below the product description and add-to-cart button.
  • Shortcode placement – If you prefer manual control, you can insert the form anywhere using the shortcode:

Note: If your theme’s product template is missing the standard WooCommerce hooks, the form may not appear in the selected position. In this case, we recommend using the shortcode or contacting our support for assistance.

Shortcode:

[easy-subscribe id="product"]

Form Display Mode

You can control how the subscription form is displayed on product pages with two options – All Products and Manual Selection.

Depending on your selection, a checkbox will appear in the Easy Subscribe tab on the product edit screen, allowing you to enable or disable the form per product.

All Products – The form will be shown on all product pages by default. You can disable it for specific products in the Easy Subscribe tab when editing a product.

Manual Selection – The form is disabled by default. You can enable it for specific products in the Easy Subscribe tab when editing a product.

List Name

The subscription list for each product is created automatically using the product name. No manual setup is required.

Example:
If the product name is “Premium Running Shoes”, the corresponding subscription list will be named “Premium Running Shoes”, and all subscribers from that product page will be added to this list.

Orders

Auto-Subscribe

The Auto-Subscribe On option allows you to automatically add customers to a subscription list based on their order status. You can choose from:

  • Order Created – Customers are subscribed as soon as the order is placed, regardless of payment status.
  • Order Completed – Customers are subscribed only when the order is marked as completed.
  • None – Auto-subscription is disabled, and customers will not be added to a list automatically.

Migration

The Migration tool allows you to import billing emails from existing orders into the defined subscription list. It copies billing emails from orders, helping you quickly build your email list from past purchases.

To migrate:

  1. Select whether you want to migrate all orders or only completed orders.
  2. A Migrate button will appear.
  3. Click the button and confirm the migration.
  4. If the migration is successful, a success message will be displayed.

Tip: If you want to migrate past orders into a separate list, first define a new list name and save it. Then, proceed with the migration. After migration, set your preferred list name for new orders if Auto-Subscribe is enabled. This way, past orders and future subscriptions can be managed separately for better segmentation.
